Principal Engineer - Systems Engineering & Product Architecture - Plymouth, MN - Remote

Daikin Applied is seeking a highly skilled and motivatedPrincipal Engineer - Systems Engineering & Product Architectureto lead a cross-functional team focused on designing, developing, and integrating cutting-edge products. This role requires a deep understanding of system engineering principles, product architecture, and cross-functional leadership. Your Responsibilities:

  • Define system-level architecture, requirements, and specifications to meet business and customer needs
  • Ensure end-to-end system integration and performance optimization across hardware and software
  • Collaborate with product management to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Drive system design reviews, technical assessments, and risk evaluations

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, product architecture, or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and lifecycle management
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in system modeling, simulation, and requirements management tools
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and cross-functional team coordination
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to travel to MN one week per month (on average)

Your Preferred Qualifications:
