  • You will manage on-site specialized processing systems, oversee configuration change management, audit logs for fault isolation, and administer local credentials.
  • You will execute and validate security configuration standards and compliance patches on simulator servers and operating systems to ensure system integrity.
  • You will diagnose how complex simulators and hardware react to insulation degradation, electrical faults, and unstable potentials in ungrounded systems.
  • You will provide advanced troubleshooting and repair for IT systems, ensuring seamless hardware integration between tactical networks and land infrastructure.
  • You will lead engineering reviews of test procedures and design packages to ensure new hardware is compatible with specialized grounding schemes.
  • You will apply expert knowledge of electrical isolation standards and codes to protect COTS computer hardware in ungrounded, maritime-style power networks.

Qualifications
In addition to the basic education requirement, our resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NJ-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate experience in applying electronics physics and digital computer architecture to analyze logic, signal, and data path behavior under varying ground potentials, diagnosing root causes within complex integrated computing or simulation environments, and applying technical cybersecurity standards (e.g., STIGs, patches) to tactical software or digital interfaces.
