Job Title: Epic Project Manager - Hello World ImplementationLocation Type: Remote (occasional 7am EST meetings)Start Date: ASAPDuration: 6-month contract with auto-renewalCompensation: Up to $110/hr W2Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K

Job Description:Our client, a major academic health system, is implementing Epic Hello World from the ground up and needs an experienced Epic Project Manager to lead the workstream from day one. After a third-party patient engagement platform failed to deliver, the organization is moving to an Epic-native solution and needs someone who can bring proven rollout structure and best practices to get it right this time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Epic Hello World implementation from day one, owning the project plan, timeline, and rollout structure
  • Advise leadership on best practices for how the rollout should be structured and sequenced
  • Identify and coordinate across all departments impacted by the implementation
  • Oversee configuration work and drive decisions on setup and workflows
  • Stand up automated patient outreach and texting workflows within Hello World
  • Partner closely with the program manager and report progress to project leadership

Minimum Requirements:

  • Deep, hands-on Epic implementation experience - someone who has clearly been in this world long enough to lead with authority
  • Ability to define rollout structure and best practices, not just execute a plan handed to them
  • Experience coordinating implementations across multiple departments
  • Strong command of Epic configuration decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic certifications
  • Experience implementing automated patient texting or outreach
  • Epic Radiant (Radiology) exposure
  • Epic Willow module exposure
