As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Ouachita Mental Peer Support Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to gain comprehensive insights into clients’ mental health conditions and customized treatment planning.
• Delivering individualized therapy sessions aimed at personal growth and holistic well-being, catering to the unique needs of each client.
• Collaboratively establishing therapeutic goals with clients and monitoring their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Providing teletherapy options to accommodate clients who prefer virtual sessions or face mobility challenges, ensuring accessibility for all.
• Maintaining meticulous records according to ethical and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental stance when engaging with clients regarding their experiences.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in remote therapy, addiction counseling, or family conflict resolution will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and therapeutic modalities specific to family therapy, grief counseling, and trauma-informed care will also strengthen your application.
