Job Summary

Facilitates the timely review and execution of research-related contractual agreements on behalf of the System.

Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

  • Reviews and edits research related agreementsin accordance withpolicy and relevant law, regulation, and accreditation requirements.

  • Works with research staff and research sponsor staff to communicate edits, negotiate and execute agreementsin a timely manner. Responds toresearchstaff contract inquiries.

  • Uses contract management system and other project management software to track all contract activity and report on metrics

  • Meets with internal, institution stakeholders (Legal Affairs, Information Technology,Purchasing, etc.) to review specialized contract issues and receivedirectionon new regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinates and communicates with the Office of Research Support Services teams to receivedirectionon contract priorities, changes in policy, and other issues.

  • Reviews clinical research documents to ensure consistency of terms

  • Performs other duties as assigned,

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal or related field of study.

  • Experience - Two (2) years research, contract administration, or related experience
