Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for greater flexibility to balance professional and personal responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize best practices to administer therapy tailored to each student's needs, employing various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, or play therapy.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of clinical records, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and school district policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school counselors, and parents, to deliver coordinated and holistic care to students.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to continuously enhance the quality of care being provided.
• Educate and empower students and their families by providing resources and information related to mental health and available support systems.
• Stay current with industry developments and research to implement effective clinical practices and improve outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health services to students within a school setting, addressing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and coping with crisis situations. You will cater to a diverse client population, fostering a safe and confidential environment for students to express their concerns and work towards healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia is required.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy with youth is essential.
• Proficiency in various evidence-based therapy techniques, particularly those focused on solution-based practices, is expected.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are critical for this role.
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting, contributing to a culture of ongoing learning and support.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school systems or with adolescents is preferred.
