Assessment Clinician - Virtual
Department: Open Access

Compensation: $33.29 - $36.29 / hour

Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. *This is a remote position open to Missouri residents only.

The Assessment Clinician Virtual (Internal title: Therapist/Client Access Specialist Virtual) is a key member of our person-centered integrated team, providing virtual assessment, access, and clinical services to persons served. In this role, you'll help guide individuals through Open Access, connect them with the right services, and provide therapy and care coordination when appropriate. You'll collaborate across disciplines and community resources to support whole-person wellness, all while helping advance our mission to Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of clinical care, assessment, and client access; values collaborative, person-centered service; and wants to make a difference for people and families in rural communities where access to healthcare can be limited.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and determine appropriate referrals for counseling and other agency services.
  • Complete enrollments and support individuals in accessing the services that best meet their needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy and treatment planning when appropriate.
  • Serve as a Client Access Specialist and liaison for individuals accessing services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to support holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate client records in accordance with agency and state requirements, including utilization management criteria.
  • Provide culturally responsive services and connect persons served with additional community resources when needed.
  • Respond to crisis calls, walk-ins, and medical or behavioral emergencies in accordance with organizational protocols and current certifications.
  • Provide licensure supervision, if applicable.
  • Perform job duties remotely, with occasional required on-site attendance for meetings or operational needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology required
  • PLPC, PLMFT, or LMSW in Missouri required
  • LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Missouri preferred
  • At least three (3) years' experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of DSM-5 required

• Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire
• Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire
