The Opportunity

  • Effective leadership across multiple operational departments: Billing, Reimbursement and Support Services  
  • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that align with short-and long-term objectives.
  • Develop, communicate, and manage KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for sustainable growth.
  • Encourage, promote and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to achieve efficiencies and problem resolution.
  • Manage budgets and expenses to meet and exceed projections.
  • Ensure quality and productivity standards are clearly defined and adhered to across all operational departments.
  • Oversee the work of assigned Directors and Managers.
  • Establish operational policies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality and client-service strategies for change implementation.
  • Partner with senior leadership to set and drive organizational vision and operational strategy for RCM.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Finance, People Operations, Development and Decision Support, Compliance, Application Support, Physician Partners, Practice Management Operations team, etc.) to drive organizational health.
  • Build a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational objectives are met.
  • Keep current on legislative updates and work collaboratively across departments to implement strategy and update operational procedures to meet compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate focus groups with all levels of team members within the departments, keep a pulse on operations and employee engagement.
  • Mentor Directors and Managers in effective people and operations management.  
  • Partner with Vituity senior leadership and physician partners around all aspects of revenue cycle.
  • Promote and support a working environment consistent with Vituity values, vision and culture.
  • Ensure internal controls, policies and procedures are consistent with state and federal law, compliance and HIPAA.
  • Work with compliance, Physician Partners and Practice management teams to research and assess new practice lines, initiatives, and billing opportunities.
  • Support hiring process and retention strategies for the department.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in new product development, new service line development, vendor acquisition and project implementation activities.
  • Support VP in developing and strengthening RCM’s relationship with senior management internally and with business partners, in order to improve the level and quality of joint decisions being made that have financial, legal and regulatory implications to the Revenue Cycle organization.
  • Ensure critical business needs and requirements are identified and met with automated processes when possible.

Required Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership in a large complex organization required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management, financial or health-related field preferred.
  • In-depth RCM experience and knowledge of multiple practice lines across the acute care continuum.
  • Experience in oversight of a budget, revenue and expense management.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strategic, visionary and innovative leadership.
  • Ability to attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Highly skilled at conflict management and conflict resolution.
  • Possess an excellent leadership and problem-solving ability.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $142,020 - $184,625, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
