How does working remotely as an ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) assessor or consultant impact collaboration with automotive development teams?

Remote ASPICE professionals often collaborate with diverse global teams across different time zones, which can present challenges in scheduling meetings and ensuring clear communication. To overcome these hurdles, remote ASPICE assessors commonly use collaborative tools such as video conferencing, shared documentation platforms, and project management software. Regular virtual check-ins and clear documentation of assessment criteria help maintain alignment. While remote work offers flexibility, it requires proactive communication and strong organizational skills to effectively coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and project management teams throughout the assessment process.

This role owns Empwr.ai's East Coast and Midwest territory: the automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and manufacturers across the Rust Belt and Mid-Atlantic, with European expansion on the horizon. You carry a $200,000 to $240,000 OTE, own your pipeline and your number, and work closely with the Seattle-based founders remote, but a full member of the go-to-market team.

The company

Empwr.ai is the AI PM for cross-functional engineering programs. The platform captures the coordination context that other tools miss dependencies, decisions, risks, and execution health so programs ship on time. Its customers run mission-critical programs in automotive and industrials, where a coordination failure shows up as a recall, a missed launch, or lost OEM trust. The founding team brings more than 60 years of building enterprise execution software at Microsoft (Project, Office, Xbox), Atlassian, and Meta, and live accounts already include Tier 1 automotive suppliers and industrial manufacturers, with contract values running from $150K to $675K and multi-year expansion paths. Empwr isn't a note-taker it's a system of intelligence for how organizations actually work.

The role

You run the full sales cycle for East Coast and Midwest enterprise accounts, from first outreach through signed contract, targeting industrial, automotive, and manufacturing buyers CTOs, VPs of Engineering, heads of operations, and IT leadership. You generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, product-usage data, and partner introductions, run discovery and demos that translate Empwr's technical depth into the business outcomes buyers care about, and build partner and consulting relationships across your region, from Tier 1 suppliers to system integrators and industrial transformation firms. You stay in close contact with Seattle HQ on pipeline reviews, deal strategy, and playbook development, and you travel into the automotive and industrial corridors each quarter to be in the room when it counts. You use AI tools natively Empwr.ai included and document what works so the next sellers can execute it without you in the room. The East Coast also overlaps the European workday, which is part of why the territory exists.

Who you are

You are a full-cycle seller with three to six years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software and a track record of carrying a quota and closing business a BDR-to-AE track is welcome. You can prospect, run discovery, demo, negotiate, and close without someone handing you a playbook first, and you know the industrial buyer, so OEM procurement, security reviews, and multi-stakeholder committees are familiar terrain. You are AI-fluent, working with AI natively in your day, Empwr.ai included, and you are self-managed and accountable productive and visible to a remote team without someone looking over your shoulder. You're based in the ET or CT zone for time-zone alignment with industrial and automotive customers. Direct relationships in automotive, industrial, or manufacturing knowing what an OEM procurement cycle, an ASPICE audit, or a Tier 1 SOP escalation looks like from the inside time at a vendor like PTC, Siemens, ANSYS, Hexagon, or Bentley, channel and partner experience, or familiarity with European enterprise sales rhythms are all strong pluses.

What's in it for you

On-target earnings run $200,000 to $240,000 against a $100,000 to $140,000 base, with a commission structure that rewards performance over tenure. You own your territory and your results with a direct line to the founders, your field insight shapes product and go-to-market strategy rather than feeding a dashboard nobody reads, and since industrial and automotive is Empwr's beachhead market, this is where the company's enterprise future gets built.

How hiring works here

Applying with Provn is designed to surface who you actually are as a seller, not just what's on your resume. Empwr.ai runs this search with Provn, a merit-based hiring platform, and the process is built to show your real selling ability:

  • Start with a short introduction who you are, what drives you, and what someone should know about you that doesn't show up on paper.
  • Complete a real sales challenge built around Empwr's actual ICP and sales motion.
  • Record a video walkthrough of your approach and your thinking.
  • Top candidates are scored against a structured rubric and advance to a conversation with the Empwr team.

A human reviews every application, and there's no AI-drafted outreach real candidates engage with the work, and Empwr will do the same. Performance over pedigree. Proof over polish.

Empwr.ai is an equal-opportunity employer that hires on signal, not pedigree. If you've done the work but your resume doesn't perfectly match the bullets above, apply anyway and tell them what they're missing.
