Commercial Specification Manager

Location: Remote; located in Chicago, IL

Reports to: Director of National Accounts & Spec Sales

Position Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Specification Manager for roofing to drive account growth by building relationships with architects, consultants, and corporate clients. This role partners closely with leadership to execute sales strategy, increase product specifications in roofing products.

What You'll Do

  • Develop relationships with national and regional corporate accounts, architects, and consultants  
  • Execute sales strategies in partnership with Regional Sales Leaders and cross-functional teams 
  • Drive specification and adoption of key roofing products across national accounts 
  • Monitor market activity and provide updates on opportunities, trends, and competitive insights 
  • Forecast and track account performance, including revenue and costs 
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and sales teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction 
  • Build relationships with large property owners and key decision-makers 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of roofing or related construction sales experience, preferably supporting national accounts 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record 
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
