How much does a crane apprentice make?

A crane apprentice typically earns between $15 and $25 per hour, depending on experience, location, and the employer. Apprentices often receive on-the-job training and may work towards certifications such as NCCCO to advance their earnings.

Can you do a remote apprenticeship?

A remote apprenticeship for a crane operator is uncommon because the role requires hands-on training with physical equipment and safety procedures. Most crane operator apprenticeships involve on-site work to develop practical skills and obtain necessary certifications. Some training programs may offer online coursework, but practical experience is essential for certification and safety compliance.

Crane operator training programs are typically conducted in person to ensure hands-on experience with equipment and safety procedures.
