Head Start Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. As a full-time social worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential mental health and substance use counseling services to youth, adults, and families. This position is performed remotely, giving you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong connection with your clients and our team. Our hospice center is equipped with the latest technology to support virtual counseling sessions, making it easier to connect with clients and collaborate with colleagues. The remote work setting promotes a balanced lifestyle while allowing you to focus on providing quality care to your clients.

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse client populations.
• Manage case assessment and treatment planning for clients referred to the outpatient setting, ensuring that all interventions are based on best practices in mental health care.
• Utilize a specialized billing service to handle claims, client accounts, and insurance receivable tasks, allowing you to focus on clinical responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and therapeutic progress, supporting compliance with state regulations and enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Schedule follow-up appointments with clients, maintain an organized calendar, and offer timely reminders for all sessions to ensure continuity of care.
• Exhibit adaptability by effectively working with a range of clinical presentations, from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders.

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will serve a wide range of clients including youth, adults, and families struggling with mental health challenges and substance use issues. You will engage with clients facing various life circumstances, economic situations, and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that you deliver empathetic and culturally competent care tailored to their unique needs. Your work will contribute significantly to individual recovery journeys and overall community health.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• A minimum of four years of practical experience, including post-graduation work or clinical practicums.

• Experience working with a diverse client population in outpatient or inpatient mental health care services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record management systems to facilitate efficient documentation and compliance.
• Proven ability to implement therapeutic modalities across a range of mental health issues.
