• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses, gathering comprehensive information to inform treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique needs, goals, and situations by utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing solution-focused approaches that promote personal growth and emotional resilience.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions, ensuring that clients receive consistent support in a comfortable environment.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Friendly Care P.C., you will work primarily with adult clients, each presenting a unique set of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will be responsible for creating a safe, empathetic space where clients feel respected and understood, providing them the tools they need to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

• Must possess a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate effective therapy sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to show compassion, empathy, and deliver non-judgmental support.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain a caseload while balancing various client needs.
• Eligibility for employment without any history of disciplinary actions on professional licensing board.

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
• Previous work in an outpatient mental health setting will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or therapy management software is beneficial.
