This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will join a supportive community of mental health professionals and collaborate extensively through telehealth platforms. In this role, you will have the flexibility of a stable full-time schedule, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote mental well-being.
• Assist clients in identifying personal challenges and facilitate the development of healthier coping strategies through supportive counseling.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on client goals, regularly assessing and adjusting strategies to reflect progress and changing needs.
• Utilize telehealth software effectively to manage client schedules, maintain accurate records, and facilitate seamless communication with clients and colleagues.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest mental health practices and participate in organizational training programs to enhance care delivery.

Your work will primarily involve clients who are seeking therapy for a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be engaging with diverse populations, ensuring that care is tailored to individual cultural backgrounds and personal experiences, thus enriching the therapeutic process.

• An independent mental health license in Virginia (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC) is required for this role.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory; however, a Master’s degree is highly preferred and typically viewed as essential for effective practice.
• Experience in providing therapy and counseling, preferably within virtual settings, as well as a familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a mental health counselor or therapist is essential, with a strong emphasis on developing individual treatment plans and providing virtual care.
• Prior experience with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals with trauma histories will be considered a significant advantage.
• Proficient in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to address a broad spectrum of mental health needs.

This role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 – 90,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
