• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify client needs, preferences, and mental health challenges, followed by the formulation of personalized treatment strategies.
• Lead individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, tailoring your therapeutic approach to the unique dynamics of each session.
• Guide clients in setting realistic therapy-related goals, providing motivation and support as they work towards achieving these objectives.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems that comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills by participating in training programs and staying informed about advancements in therapeutic methodologies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care and ongoing support.

In your role, you will work with a diverse array of clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Your clientele may include individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. By offering compassionate care and culturally informed counseling practices, you will contribute to the overall mental well-being of the community.

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a relevant mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont.
• At least 2 years of professional counseling experience with a focus on diverse populations.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Able to work independently with effective self-management, while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling delivery methods.
• Background in working with clients from various marginalized and underrepresented communities.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges between USD 80,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
