Job description

Senior Front End (Angular) Engineer (Available as remote, Greater Boston, or Indianapolis position) We have built an annuity administration system that is used by both internal and external users. The front end is a single-page application built using Angular. The front-end engineer would be expected to work on a team of 8 others, with 1 designer and 2 other front-end engineers.

The initial system is expected to launch this month, but there are continuing opportunities for expansion/development after product launch. Responsibilities ï‚·Lead development of Angular single page web application ï‚·Support existing Angular code base with bug fixes or enhancements ï‚·Work with Product Designer to build and maintain custom UI Components ï‚·Act as a thought leader in the technical space; making recommendations on how particular problems might be solved and with what technologies. ï‚·Uphold existing application security standards; define new standards and practices, as necessary. Requirements ï‚·Strong understanding of web development (Angular 17+, HTML5/CSS3, Apollo GraphQL Client) ï‚·Must be self-directed, confident, and able to work in a fast-paced environment ï‚·Flexibility to adapt to the technology most appropriate to complete a task ï‚·Financial Services / FinTech domain knowledge, a plus ï‚·Prior React experience, a plus ï‚·Prior Google Analytics experience, a plus ï‚·6+ years relevant work experience
