• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and solution-focused therapy, adapting approaches based on patient progress and feedback.
• Organize and facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops to empower clients with knowledge and resources needed to cope with mental health issues.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to guarantee seamless patient experience and optimized care.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary and remain accessible for immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and appropriate care pathways.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions and treatment techniques while connecting them to additional community resources that may enhance their therapeutic journey.
• Maintain rigorous documentation practices in compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure confidentiality and legal adherence.
• Engage actively in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed on the latest research, theories, and methodologies in the mental health field to ensure optimal patient care and practice innovation.

As a Mental Health Therapist at the Denton Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals grappling with a variety of mental health disorders. Our patient population comprises adults, adolescents, and families who seek support for emotional and psychological challenges. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to fit different demographics, cultural backgrounds, and personal experiences will be crucial in fostering healing and resilience among clients.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. Advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) will be highly regarded.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.
• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the therapeutic process.
• Proven experience in conducting mental health evaluations and formulating effective treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group therapy sessions to a range of clients, showcasing diverse clinical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong professional judgment and ability to maintain ethical boundaries within the therapeutic relationship.
• Familiarity with EHR systems, computer literacy, and competence in utilizing digital tools for remote therapy practices.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering cooperation across all levels of care.

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and knowledge of best practices for remote therapy delivery will be considered advantageous. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and populations will elevate your application.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
