Remote - Oracle Siebel CRM Technical Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Siebel Technical Engineer to join our enterprise technology team. In this pivotal role, you will design, build, optimize, and support enterprise-grade Siebel CRM solutions that power our omnichannel order management lifecycle and communications ecosystem.

You will be responsible for driving hands-on technical development, architecting high-performance REST APIs, and maintaining critical integrations between Oracle Siebel CRM and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). If you are a technical problem-solver with deep expertise in Siebel Order Management and complex enterprise integrations, this is an opportunity to directly impact our customer experience and operational scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Development & Architecture
  • Solution Design & Build: Configure, customize, and extend Siebel CRM applications to align with evolving business rules and operational workflows.
  • Order Management & Communications: Lead development and technical enhancements across Siebel Order Management and Communications modules, ensuring fast, reliable order processing from quote to fulfillment.
  • API & Integration Engineering: Design, build, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and web services to bridge Siebel with core enterprise applications, external vendors, and middleware systems.
  • Oracle EBS Integration: Maintain and optimize critical interface data flows between Oracle Siebel CRM and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules.

Production Support & Optimization

  • System Operations: Provide tier-3 technical support for production incidents, root-cause analysis, and system bug resolution in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot database queries, integration bottlenecks, and workflow executions to ensure high availability and sub-second response times.
  • Release Management: Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to plan, test, and deploy software releases following modern DevOps and SDLC best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)
  • Oracle Siebel CRM Expertise: Proven track record in technical development, configuration, eScripting, workflow processes, business components, and UI layer customization.
  • Order Management & Communications: Deep hands-on experience supporting and customizing Siebel Order Management and Communications modules.
  • REST API Development: Demonstrated proficiency in designing, publishing, and consuming REST APIs within Siebel environments.
  • Oracle EBS Integration: Direct experience building and troubleshooting end-to-end integrations between Oracle Siebel and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Full Lifecycle Support: Experience balancing project-based development work alongside production support and root-cause troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Ecosystem Exposure: Broad understanding of the wider Oracle ERP/CRM footprint.
  • Middleware Proficiency: Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, WebLogic, MuleSoft, or Kafka).
  • Domain Knowledge: Background in retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), or subscription/order fulfillment models.
