To thrive as a Remote Anime Translator, strong Japanese-to-English (or other language) translation skills, a deep understanding of anime culture, and qualifications such as a degree in translation or linguistics are essential. Familiarity with subtitling software (like Aegisub or Subtitle Edit), CAT tools, and media file management systems is typically required. These skills ensure accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and timely delivery of translated anime content to global audiences.
