How do remote animation script writers typically collaborate with animation teams during the production process?

Remote animation script writers usually work closely with directors, storyboard artists, and producers through virtual meetings, cloud-based script editing tools, and messaging platforms. Effective communication is essential to ensure the script aligns with the project's visual style and pacing. Writers often participate in feedback sessions, making revisions based on team input and adapting to changes in storyboards or animation direction. To thrive as a Remote Animation Script Writer, you need strong storytelling abilities, a solid grasp of script formatting, and experience in animation writing, often supported by a degree in creative writing, film, or a related field. Job description

Quality Assurance Analyst I | 18-month Project Hire
Location: Chattanooga, TN (Headquarters) | Hybrid
Remote consideration available for candidates willing to travel onsite; strong preference for local Chattanooga-region candidates.

Launch your technology career with Transport Enterprise Leasing, LLC (TEL) as a Quality Assurance Analyst I. In this entry-level role, youโ€™ll help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the applications, integrations, reports, and data solutions that keep our business moving.
This is an 18-month project hire created to support TELโ€™s continued growth and the implementation of a new system. It is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience, build technical skills, and contribute to meaningful work that has a direct impact on the business. To recognize the value of this assignment, the role also includes a completion bonus equal to 15% of base salary, paid at the end of the 18-month term.
If youโ€™re detail-oriented, curious, and excited to learn how technology supports real-world operations, this is your opportunity to build a strong foundation while working alongside experienced developers, analysts, and business partners.
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Partner with developers, business analysts, and business users to understand requirements and identify effective test scenarios.
  • Create and execute test cases and test scripts for applications, integrations, reports, enhancements, and fixes with guidance from senior team members.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and basic end-to-end testing to confirm usability, system behavior, and data accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and test results clearly, tracking them through resolution using approved tools and processes.
  • Retest resolved issues and run regression checks to make sure updates donโ€™t negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Support release validation and user acceptance testing to help ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and are ready for production.
  • Maintain test data, documentation, and quality records throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Communicate testing risks, quality concerns, and project issues to the right team members so work stays on track.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on select projects while learning TELโ€™s systems, tools, and standards.
  • Continuously grow your technical skills and contribute ideas that improve processes, quality, and service.
  • Build awareness of AI-assisted testing tools and learn to use them responsibly, ensuring all AI-generated test cases and analysis are reviewed, validated, and guided by sound judgement before use.
What Youโ€™ll Bring
  • Foundational understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts and quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to write clear test cases, follow test steps, document issues accurately, and maintain testing documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed and eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • A commitment to protecting confidential information and supporting quality with integrity.
Education amp; Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent training, certification, or relevant practical experience may be considered.
  • We will accept military service in lieu of a two-year college degree.
  • Entry-level experience through internships, coursework, academic projects, or early professional experience related to software testing, quality assurance, business systems, or technology support.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, test management or defect tracking tools, GitHub or other collaboration tools, SQL, APIs, spreadsheets, data validation, and simple scripting is preferred.
  • Exposure to testing or supporting web applications, integrations, reports, or business systems through school, internships, or previous work experience is a plus.
  • Interest in transportation, leasing, financial services, or other operationally complex business environments is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to apply them responsibly; including understanding of prompt basics, awareness of AI output limitations, and commitment to human review of AI-generated code and content.
Why TEL?
