• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through video sessions, ensuring personalized treatment planning.
• Develop and implement recovery-based, person-centered treatment plans, continuously evaluating their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
• Guide clients in building essential coping mechanisms and problem-solving strategies through regular therapy sessions focused on their unique challenges.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adult clients (18 years and older) who are facing various mental health challenges that prevent them from achieving independence and community stability. Your role will involve direct engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current state licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia is mandatory, along with no disciplinary actions on the license.
• Proven ability to practice independently, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong sense of empathy to build therapeutic relationships.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in virtual communication platforms are required to enhance service delivery.

• At least three years of previous experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health setting.
• Ability to conduct symptom monitoring and management effectively, addressing a diverse range of behavioral health issues.
• Experience in providing skills training, including daily living skills, behavioral and anger management, and social support.
