Link 2 Solutions LLC has just been engaged for a new Senior Android Developer position at one of our best Orlando based clients. The position is fully remote ( x2 per year in Orlando corporate HQ) with the preference of our client being to hire a qualified candidate who lives within a 60/120-minute drive of Orlando, Corporate HQ.

Senior Android Developer position.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills/experience:-

  • 6+ yearsโ€™ experience developing enterprise-level Android applications with proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Excellent understanding of Android-related design and architecture patterns including MVVM, Dependency Injection, Product Flavors, Single Activity Architecture.
  • Experience developing against RESTful APls, using Web Proxies like Fiddler or Proxyman, Application logging, and Firebase
  • Experience in full software development lifecycle (through to launch) of at least one enterprise Android application.
  • Experience with Android application management in the Enterprise Play Store (EPS), and .NET WebAPI, Web UI development a bonus.
  • Strong sense of ownership and delivery balanced with team-first collaborative approach.
  • Engineering mindset when approaching problems (engineer first, Android developer second).
  • Demonstrated focus on implementing with quality, including use of test automation and embracing of QA functions.
  • Open willingness to help teach and develop younger programming talent and mentor apprentice developers.
  • Practical experience supporting application issues through use of telemetry systems (e.g. Firebase, DataDog, Microsoft App Center).
  • Embrace health work life balance. Ability to work remotely, be on camera In meetings, and adhere to Eastern time zone hours.
