Job description

As Senior Manager, Amazon, you will own the strategy, growth, and day-to-day operation of the Amazon business. You will serve as the primary internal owner of the channel and are accountable for revenue growth, the digital shelf, forecasting, and account health. You will play a pivotal cross-functional role, partnering across the Planning, Performance Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, and Brand teams to build a channel that is healthy, on-brand, and growth-driven. You will set the channel roadmap and direct our media partners toward clear, measurable outcomes.

You thrive on solving hard problems, operate confidently in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize effectively while keeping stakeholders aligned and moving quickly. You bring an operator's command of Seller Central and a strategist's perspective on where the business can grow.

You will report to the VP, Digital Product & Experience.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Amazon channel strategy and its contribution to the business, setting growth targets and the roadmap to reach them.
  • Serve as the primary internal owner of the Amazon business, driving revenue growth, category share, and product visibility across the channel.
  • Own the Amazon digital shelf end to end (buy-box, A+ / PDP content, brand store, imagery, and organic search performance).
  • Own promotional setup and execution, focusing closely on configuration of deals, coupons, pricing, and merchandising, and aligning to the retail calendar.
  • Partner with and direct our partners on Amazon advertising strategy, aligning on targets and holding spend accountable to efficient, incremental performance.
  • Own the Amazon forecast by SKU in partnership with Planning, managing replenishment timing, weeks of supply, and in-stock rates.
  • Manage FBA inventory flow and mitigate stock-out, excess, and stranded-inventory risk.
  • Manage Seller Central operations (catalog, listings, case management, account health, and compliance)
  • Stay current on Amazon's evolving policies, programs, algorithm changes, and advertising and merchandising capabilities, translating new features and best practices into opportunities for the business.
  • Coordinate review-generation and reputation-management programs, partnering with the Customer Experience and Operations teams on returns and fulfillment.
  • Build clear visibility into on-platform performance beyond top-line sales, and select and operate the marketplace tools that support it.
  • Connect Amazon insights to DTC and other channels so demand intelligence flows across the business, and communicate channel performance and priorities to leadership through regular reporting and recaps.

What You Bring

  • 5-6 years managing Amazon Seller Central and/or marketplace businesses, with a track record of driving revenue and category growth (3P experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience on both the brand side and the agency side of Amazon, able to set direction for and partner effectively with specialist media partners (strongly preferred)
  • Strong command of Amazon operational workflows including FBA, inventory management, catalog management, and account health
  • Fluency with retail-media strategy and the ability to direct and hold media partners accountable, though deep hands-on media buying is not required
  • Experience owning SKU-level forecasting and demand planning
  • Proficiency with marketplace tools (e.g., Stackline, Helium10) and web analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Looker)
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-informed decision-making
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise project management and task-tracking tools such as Asana, Jira, or Monday
  • Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize, and communicate complex or technical concepts
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building new processes within a growing business
  • Collaborative team player able to work effectively across all departments to meet goals and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • A positive, optimistic, can-do attitude, willing to jump in to support teammates

This role can be based in our Summit, NJ headquarters or New York, NY office. To support our business and company culture, we work together in person a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) with flexibility to work remotely on other days. Occasional work from one of our other offices may be required.

The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. New hires are typically brought in between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. Base salary is one part of a total rewards package. In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible to be part of the Company's annual bonus program with a non-binding Company and individual performance-based target bonus.

This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Additionally, Boll & Branch will not commence an immigration case or "sponsor" an individual for this position (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration).

The above is a comprehensive, but not exhaustive, description of requirements and expectations that may evolve over time based on business needs. You must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

What We Offer:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life/AD&D insurance
  • Commuter Benefits, HSA/FSA, STD/LTD, and Employee Assistance Program
  • Family-Planning Services, Gender-affirming healthcare, and Health Advocacy Program
  • Fitness Reimbursement Program, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and an Employee Discount

Who We Are:

At Boll & Branch, we don't make bedding like everyone else. We make it better.

In 2014, our founders, Scott and Missy Tannen, challenged every conventional standard in the textile industry, creating a new supply chain that prioritized thread quality, not thread count. By investing exclusively in 100% organic raw materials from the start, we became the first bedding company ever to be Fair Trade Certified. Today, we keep five commitments at the heart of everything we do. We are:

  • Cultivators of the Highest Quality Threads
  • Pioneers in 100% Organic Cotton
  • Free from Toxins at Every Step
  • 100% Traceable from Farm to Finish
  • Committed to Fair and Ethical Treatment for All

Boll & Branch has over 250 employees, and we are headquartered in Summit, NJ, with a second office in New York, NY and a dedicated Photo Studio in New Providence, NJ. In 2019, to propel our growth, we raised $100M from L Catterton, a leading consumer goods private equity fund. We are also progressively expanding our retail and wholesale footprint. While the heart of our business lies in the direct-to-consumer online model, we also have several retail stores around the country as well as partnerships with Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.

Boll & Branch LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
