As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role encompasses many vital responsibilities including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing targeted treatment plans that incorporate crisis and behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Fulfilling all necessary documentation requirements promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of patient records.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools in coordination with the clinical team to ensure effective treatment delivery.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with each patient's unique circumstances and goals.
• Engaging in all necessary licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic's operational standards.
• Acting as a liaison to various service systems and collaborating with state agencies and community partners to maximize patient access to essential resources.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication channels among stakeholders to support our mission and meet contractual obligations.
• Building relationships with local and state agencies, as well as private organizations, to enhance program visibility and identify new partnership or funding opportunities.
• Fostering your professional growth through continuous learning opportunities like attending workshops, conferences, and being an active member of professional networks.
• Promoting the agency's mission and values while performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

We serve a diverse array of patients, each facing unique challenges related to mental health and recovery. Our counselor will support individuals grappling with emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Hold an independent and active LMHC license in the State of Washington, or be open to pursuing licensure if currently licensed in another state (we will cover the associated fees).
