Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing clinical assessments and intervention plans in a school-based context.
• Engage actively as a team player to collaborate on common goals, ensuring cohesive service delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive and developmentally appropriate screenings, coordinating further detailed assessments when needed.
• Create, implement, and monitor integrated care plans, facilitating access to linked services and maintaining open communication among clients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Offer a range of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services tailored to client needs, including crisis intervention.
• Manage a caseload that includes assessment, individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support therapeutic outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies by timely completing reports and maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, ensuring continuity of care for clients even outside regular hours.
• Engage in committee work aimed at improving agency service delivery and quality assurance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on serving students and families in the school system, particularly in under-served neighborhoods of Atlanta. LCSWs will address a spectrum of emotional and psychological needs, supporting children and adolescents facing academic, social, and personal challenges exacerbated by socio-economic factors. Commitment to culturally competent and sensitive approaches is essential in fostering trust and effectively addressing clients’ diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, with a focus on clinical practice.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in school settings or community health.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

Prime Health Counseling, LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
