The Private Pricing Analytics and Insights team is a critical part of enabling the AWS Private Pricing business to achieve the highest standards of excellence for WW Commercial Operations. This role, based in North America, will focus on Business Analytics and Business Intelligence related to Private Pricing Deals, requiring broad technical skills, strong business acumen and a deep analytical background to provide performance reporting, actionable insights and decision support. As a member of this team, you will harness your skills to understand business requirements, create performance metrics, conduct data analysis, provide insights, recommend actions, build analytical models for hypothesis testing, create forecasting models, build self-service dashboards and visualization, drive automation and process improvements, to help the Private Pricing leaders and teams to achieve their goals.
The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies

Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve data problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual that seeks to "tell the story" of the data with little direction or supervision.
Key job responsibilities
Lead sales executive discussions to share insights, challenge status quo, and provide forward-looking recommendations that enable strategic decision-making and accelerate Private Pricing growth
Design and maintain continuously-evolving business analytics frameworks and data models; own quantitative analysis of sales team performance, customer behavior, deal dynamics, partner ecosystems, market trends, and product effectiveness
Develop deep expertise in sales metrics, reporting tools, and data architectures to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, deliver actionable intelligence, and design new metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools
Build collaborative relationships with sales, finance, sales operations, and cross-functional teams to identify reporting gaps and implement solutions
Design and deploy automated analytical tools and reports that streamline business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes
Create operational templates and standardized processes that consolidate disparate data sources into unified reporting frameworks and consistent metrics tracking
Execute complex ad-hoc analyses by extracting and synthesizing data from multiple management systems, delivering timely recommendations with measurable business impact
Architect new mechanisms and business processes that simplify operations, standardize workflows, and drive operational excellence across the organization
