Position Overview

Allegheny Family Connection Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, facilitating effective treatment and support for a wide range of mental health concerns.

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver therapy services from the comfort of your home while utilizing our digital platforms for communication and documentation. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions in clients.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families.
  • Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, providing support and strategies to help clients navigate their emotional and relational difficulties.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions when appropriate, focusing on shared experiences such as grief, divorce, or family conflict.
  • Refer clients to specialists for additional support when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care and follow-up.
  • Document all sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, using our electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the collaborative environment of our center.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population encompasses individuals and families facing a variety of challenges such as alcohol and substance abuse disorders, experiences of physical or psychological abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job stress, and transitional issues such as separation and divorce. As a providing clinician, you will approach each client with empathy and cultural sensitivity, helping them to identify their goals and facilitating their journeys toward healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid and active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings, preferably with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy.
  • Knowledge of best practices in mental health treatment, including familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and client management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, complemented by a generous benefits package that includes:
