Job description

Job Title: ETL Operations Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 4 Months + possible Extension
Job Description:
  • Experience in defining schedules, monitoring systems, tracking system SLRs, and ensuring ETL operational environment available and maintained.
  • Experience in ETL SDLC and release management procedures.
  • Provide assess high-level impact of source system/target changes to the data warehouse and other ETL application(s).
  • Manage multiple resources with respect to their utilization, work distribution across different projects, create priorities and work time approval.
  • Actively participate and provide feedback on team/project meetings (deployment guide review, work request guide review, etc)
  • Hands on experience in trouble shooting, triaging issues in ETL system involving AbInitio, DB2 and Unix.
  • Resource is expected to be flexible for off-hour/weekend support as needed.
Tool/Technology requirement:
  • Hands-on experience in Unix, Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Control Center, MDH), Scheduler (Control M) and RDBMS (SQL)
