About This Role


The renewal revenue governance roleensures compliance, profitability, and consistency in renewals by enforcing company policies, managing approvals for non-standard pricing, and mitigating revenue risk. The role acts as a bridge between Sales, Renewals and Finance, this role streamlines the renewal lifecycle and optimizes deal structuring to protect profitability.

Primary Governance Responsibilities:

  • Policy Enforcement & Compliance:Ensuring renewals adhere to company-set pricing, discount, and contract guidelines. Enforce strict parameters on discount limits and multi-year deal structure to prevent ARR erosion.
  • Approval Workflow Optimization:Primary reviewer/approver on non-standard renewal asks (uplift reduction, pricing related to downsell/erosion, etc). Manages the approval process by ensuring the correct stakeholders (Legal, Finance, DMT, Renewal VP) review the deal when appropriate per approval matrix.
  • Deal Structuring Support:Partnering with Sales, Renewals and DMT to structure renewals that balance customer needs with company profitability. Includes advising on "fill the bucket" expectations related to our ARR policy.
  • Reporting: Works with Renewal Revenue Operations to create monthly reporting to track requests for trends. Recommend/provide guidance on areas of focus for improvement by geo and segment.

The typical base salary for this role is betweenUSD $84,937.50 - 141,562.50 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
