Our teams, technology, and local expertise come together so property owners and insurers get fewer losses, faster recoveries, and someone they can trust.

    ABOUT THE JOB

This role works Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm EST.

Every mitigation assignment depends on someone keeping the details right: tracking the claim, writing the estimate, and making sure the right people have the right information at the right time. As an MDS Estimator, that is your job.

You will work assignments from start to finish, writing estimates in Xactimate and Cotality (formerly CoreLogic)/Symbility, and keeping Franchise Owners, Operations Managers, Technicians, and insurance companies in sync. This is a remote, full time role for someone who is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable communicating with a lot of different people every day.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Track mitigation assignments from beginning to end.
    • Review and help maintain assignment records so the team always has accurate information.
    • Communicate claim updates from Rytech Field Technicians to Rytech customers, by phone and through data entry.
    • Communicate and correspond with Franchise Owners, Operations Managers, Technicians, and insurance companies to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Track and report your daily activity to your Team Lead.
    • Write detailed Mitigation, Fire, Contents, and Rebuild estimates using Xactimate and Cotality (formerly CoreLogic)/Symbility.
    • Take on other duties and special projects as your Team Lead asks, to support the needs of the team and business.

    Requirements

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum 1 year of estimating experience in Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) or Symbility, required.
    • Xactimate estimating experience, required.
    • Comfortable using different software systems in a data entry heavy, desk oriented role.

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Experience in property restoration, insurance claims, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with insurance carrier processes.

    SKILLS YOU'LL BRING

    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and superior customer service.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to prioritize and deliver results under pressure.

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU ARE...

    • Organized, even when assignment volume picks up.
    • A clear communicator across customers, technicians, and insurance carriers.
    • Comfortable switching between multiple software systems throughout the day.
    • Steady under pressure and able to juggle several assignments at once.
    • A team player who also gets things done independently.

    Benefits

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • A role with real impact. You are helping people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.
    • The stability of a 30 year old company with the energy of a growing national brand.
    • Career growth across multiple companies and markets under the Fortify umbrella.
    • A team that values plain talk, hard work, and doing right by our customers.
    • Full time employees are eligible for our standard benefits package, including health coverage, 401k with company match, and paid time off.
    • The chance to be part of something new. We are building the future of property protection, and your voice matters here.
