  • Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to share insights, develop cohesive treatment strategies, and stay informed on best practices in integrated care.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development by keeping current with relevant research and advancements within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who experience co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. These individuals often face unique challenges that require a compassionate and informed approach, making your role essential in guiding their recovery and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC, LP, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in meeting the mental health needs of individuals with concurrent medical conditions.

  • Experience in delivering integrated care and successfully collaborating with medical professionals is highly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective therapeutic relationships with patients and the multidisciplinary team.

  • Ability to respect professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and prioritize patient confidentiality in all interactions.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using relevant computer applications.

  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that values diverse perspectives.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience dealing with a diverse patient population and the ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs.

  • Background in telehealth services and comfort using technology for patient care.
