What is a Remote Agriculture Writing job?

A Remote Agriculture Writing job involves researching and creating content about farming, agribusiness, sustainability, and related topics from a remote location. Writers may develop articles, reports, blog posts, or technical documents for websites, magazines, research institutions, or agricultural companies. This role requires strong writing skills, knowledge of agriculture, and the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, accessible content. Many remote agriculture writers work as freelancers, while others are employed by media firms, nonprofits, or agribusinesses.

What is the best remote control for Alzheimer's patients?

Remote agriculture writers do not typically recommend remote controls for Alzheimer's patients; instead, caregivers often use specialized monitoring devices or simplified communication tools to assist with safety and daily activities. These devices may include GPS trackers, emergency alert systems, or simplified remote controls designed for ease of use. Proper assessment by healthcare professionals is essential to select appropriate tools for individual needs.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Remote agriculture writers can earn $2,000 or more weekly by producing high-quality content for agricultural publications, blogs, or companies, often through freelance platforms or direct contracts. Building expertise in agricultural topics, strong research skills, and a reliable portfolio can help secure higher-paying assignments and consistent work schedules.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Agriculture Writing position, and why are they important?

To thrive in Remote Agriculture Writing, you need a solid understanding of agricultural science, excellent research abilities, and strong writing skills—preferably supported by a degree in agriculture, journalism, or a related field. Familiarity with industry-specific software such as content management systems (CMS), scientific databases, and digital communication tools is often expected. Outstanding time management, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly are valuable soft skills. These abilities ensure accurate, engaging content that meets the needs of agricultural organizations and readerships in a primarily virtual, independent work environment.

You may also spend time analyzing scientific studies, sourcing credible data, and adapting content to suit target audiences, whether they are farmers, industry professionals, or the general public. Most tasks are managed independently, but regular virtual meetings and deadlines help maintain project coordination. This remote structure offers flexibility, but requires strong self-discipline and excellent communication to keep projects on track and deliver high-quality, accurate content.

Job description

More about the role:

Burson is looking for a talented, highly motivated Senior Account Executive with strong writing, visual content creation, and digital publishing experience to join our growing team.

This role is a unique opportunity to work on a premier, global account focused on sustainable agriculture, supply chain traceability, and environmental metrics. If you have an active interest in sustainability, fashion retail, or supply chain communications, and want to do creative, integrated work that drives measurable global impact, we want to hear from you.

Our team is fast-paced, deeply collaborative, and cares about delivering exceptional work. The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter, a strong writer, and a visual storyteller who can translate complex, data-driven sustainability concepts into compelling, humanized narratives for a wide variety of audiences.

This can be a hybrid or fully remote role in US EST and CST time zones.
What you'll do:
  • Multi-Audience Copywriting & Content Creation: Write, edit, and keep up-to-date a wide range of deliverables-including compelling member spotlights (featuring farmers, supply chain partners, and global brands), educational one-pagers, FAQs, newsletter content, and website copy.
  • Visual Storytelling & Design: Translate complex ideas into visually engaging, high-impact PowerPoint presentations and collateral using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  •  Audience Translation: Shift writing styles and tones to engage highly diverse target audiences-ranging from local growers and agricultural producers to supply chain partners (mills, merchants) and executive sustainability leaders at global fashion brands and retailers.
  • Digital & Social Publishing: Manage day-to-day digital updates on platforms like WordPress and draft, schedule, and publish engaging social media content via Sprout Social.
  • Account Coordination: Help keep deliverables, content calendars, and project trackers organized, ensuring the team meets rolling deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Bring a deep curiosity and willingness to dive into the technical details of sustainable farming, environmental footprints (water, soil, carbon emissions), and supply chain logistics to ensure all content is scientifically credible yet highly accessible.
Experience that contributes to success:
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of communications/PR experience (agency experience is highly preferred; in-house experience in a relevant sector is also welcome).
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or a demonstrated, active interest in sustainability, agriculture, fashion retail, corporate ESG, or supply chain logistics.
  • Versatile Writer: A proven portfolio of writing for different audiences with distinct voices, showing an ability to make technical or data-heavy topics easy to understand.
  • Tech & Design Savvy: Hands-on experience and strong proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office (with a strong emphasis on designing high-quality PowerPoint decks)
  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Digital CMS platforms (specifically WordPress)
  • Social media management tools (specifically Sprout Social)
  • Mindset: A curious, proactive self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do, has exceptional attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative, team-first environment.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with event organization, media relations, or stakeholder engagement.
