Job description

We are looking for a full time design engineer to support manufacturing operations and engineering projects. Candidate must have experience in designing injection, transfer, or compression molds. Other mold/die design experience may be acceptable.


Required Experience/Skills:

-5+ Years of Experience in SolidWorks CAD program use

-Capable of reading 2D drawings and converting into 3D models

-Knowledge in industrial molding (rubbers, thermoplastics, thermosets/composites)

-Experience or capability in performing design engineering and manufacturing support projects from start to finish (project organization, sourcing, drawings, tool design, manufacturing process development)

-Good communication skills


Optional Experience/Skills:

-Material and vendor sourcing/screening

-Metal forming techniques and die design

-2D CAM software programming

-GD&T

-Composite/rubber layup experience

-Metal finishing/coating

-Technical writing

-Converting loft data


Additional Information:

-On site availability is preferred, but remote working will still be considered.

-Job Type: Full time or Contract

-Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am to 3:30pm local time) – Remote schedule is flexible
