Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to identify the unique challenges faced by each client and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), facilitating an environment where clients can express their emotions and work through their struggles.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, focusing on confidentiality and ethical treatment practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and support.
• Participate in regular peer review meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to continually enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you’ll work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Clients range in age and background, requiring a deep understanding of various cultural factors and individual experiences to provide effective therapy. This multicultural environment demands an approach that respects and integrates each individual's unique narrative, promoting a tailored therapeutic experience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in the state of Illinois, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Proficient experience in solution-focused psychotherapeutic techniques, allowing for the adaptation of treatment plans that meet the evolving needs of clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which are critical for building rapport with clients and communicating effectively with the treatment team.
