Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility in how and when you work. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments through secure video calls, evaluating clients' mental health needs and establishing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, family, couple, and group counseling sessions, customizing your approach based on the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilize modern telehealth tools to perform mental health screenings, helping to identify specific areas requiring attention and support.
  • Engage actively with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring that therapy is tailored to their personal journey.
  • Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health care and promote positive outcomes.
  • Regularly meet with clients for therapeutic sessions, monitoring progress and making real-time adjustments to enhance the effectiveness of treatment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our mental health services by sharing insights and collaborating on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work with a diverse client population, including children, adults, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders, among others. Our focus is on providing inclusive, culturally sensitive mental health services that address the unique circumstances and needs of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Social Work (LICSW) is required.
  • Possession of an active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Social Worker is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling, including familiarity with individual and group therapy techniques, is preferred.
  • Experience in addressing co-occurring disorders and substance abuse treatment is a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of current counseling theories, techniques, and best practices, along with familiarity with the latest trends in mental health care.
Compensation and Benefits
