• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to establish personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote wellness and recovery.
• Monitor client progress, utilizing established metrics to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and nursing staff, to create cohesive and effective intervention strategies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with psychiatrists regarding medication management and any hospital admissions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and work to devise strategies that support positive outcomes.
• Engage family members and primary caregivers in therapy to enhance the overall support system for clients facing mental health challenges.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Comprehensive knowledge regarding psychotropic medications and their effects on patients.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to connect and engage with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a naturally empathetic disposition towards clients’ challenges.

• At least two years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a related role within a clinical setting.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and teletherapy platforms.
