Our commitment to excellence in mental health services requires a counselor who shares our passion for fostering personal development and emotional resilience.

About the Organization

Freedom Psychotherapy Services is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to individuals and families, particularly those with limited access to essential services. Our team is composed of experienced professionals who are committed to creating a supportive environment where clients can feel safe and empowered. With our focus on evidence-based treatments and holistic approaches, we aim to foster a culture of healing and personal growth.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in your daily routine while still maintaining regular collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams. Your primary practice will be in our outpatient office, providing you with the ability to connect with and support clients in an efficient, compassionate, and personal manner. Our modern digital infrastructure supports teletherapy and in-person sessions, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, fostering connection and support among participants while addressing varied therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide integrated care for clients.
  • Document treatment progress meticulously and maintain compliance with industry standards for billing and insurance requirements, leveraging support from administrative staff when necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Your dedication to understanding each client’s unique background and circumstances will enable you to build trust and cultivate therapeutic relationships that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in the delivery of mental health services.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or significant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with marginalized communities or underserved populations within the mental health sector.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, contingent upon experience and client caseload. You will benefit from numerous client referrals, which will enhance your professional practice and growth opportunities. Additionally, our administrative support minimizes your workload regarding billing and documentation, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing compassionate care.
