Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, you will:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the varying mental health needs of patients and design individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based best practices.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to each client's unique needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and corporate standards to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other licensed therapists, to provide cohesive and effective patient care.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to continually enhance the quality of care being delivered and to share best practices among team members.
  • Educate and support patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options available, and community resources that may aid their recovery.

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals who are undergoing detoxification and are experiencing a range of mental health challenges associated with substance use and recovery. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Vermont.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, particularly with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in employing solution-focused therapeutic interventions and adapting methodologies based on client feedback and progress.
