What is a remote admin?

Remote Admins, or Remote Administrators, are professionals who provide administrative support to organizations or individuals from a remote location. Their tasks often include managing emails, scheduling meetings, handling data entry, organizing files, and assisting with customer service or project management. Remote Admins use digital tools to communicate and collaborate with teams, making it possible to perform their duties effectively without being physically present in the office. This role is ideal for those who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology. The flexibility of remote work allows businesses to access a wider talent pool and enables employees to work from anywhere.

What does a remote admin do?

As a remote admin, you address IT, computer, and software issues, as well as assist end users with technical difficulties, setting up new accounts, or integrating new pieces of software. Your duties include monitoring system operations and efficiency, working with IT admins and developers to improve security systems, and contributing to risk mitigation strategies. You also provide system support, remote network setup, and diagnostic help. You may work from home or another location outside of a traditional office setting and use email, phone, text, or video chat to perform your responsibilities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote admin, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Admin, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative procedures, often supported by experience or a relevant degree. Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools, cloud storage platforms, and office software like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is essential. Excellent communication, time management, and self-motivation help remote admins excel in independent and team-based tasks. These skills ensure efficient remote operations, reliable support to teams, and seamless workflow across digital environments.

How do remote admins typically stay connected and collaborate effectively with their teams?

Remote Admins often use a variety of digital tools to maintain efficient communication and collaboration with their teams, such as video conferencing platforms, instant messaging, and project management software. Regular virtual meetings and clear documentation help ensure everyone stays aligned on tasks and priorities. Building strong relationships remotely can be a challenge, but proactive communication and responsiveness make a big difference. Additionally, many organizations provide onboarding and ongoing support to help remote admins integrate seamlessly into their team structures.

Senior Account Executive - Physician Practice Sales (RPM / CCM)

Vironix AI

Philadelphia, PA โ€ข Remote

$100K - $140K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 6 days ago

Job description

Vironix Health is an AI-powered remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM) company transforming how physician practices detect, monitor, and manage chronic illness. Our platform helps practices deliver proactive care for patients with heart failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and other high-risk conditions - improving outcomes while generating new recurring revenue streams for the practice. We partner directly with independent and physician-owned practices to make world-class chronic care monitoring simple to adopt and easy to scale.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive who knows how to sell to physicians - not hospital systems, not health plan bureaucracies, but the doctors and practice administrators who make decisions at independent and PE-backed private practices. You'll own a defined territory, run the full sales cycle from prospecting through signed agreement, and build lasting relationships with specialty and primary care practices across your market.

This is a high-autonomy, high-upside role. Our sales motion is consultative and clinical: you'll be showing physicians how remote monitoring improves patient outcomes and practice economics. If you have existing relationships with practices in Nevada or Pennsylvania, you'll be able to hit the ground running.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle - prospecting, discovery, clinical/economic presentations, negotiation, and close - for physician practices in your territory
  • Build and manage a pipeline of independent, physician-owned, and PE-backed private practices
  • Sell directly to physicians, practice owners, and practice administrators, tailoring the conversation to both clinical value and practice revenue impact
  • Develop deep relationships within target specialties: cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and primary care
  • Partner with our clinical and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account success
  • Represent Vironix at local specialty society meetings, conferences, and practice networking events in your market
  • Provide market feedback to leadership to help shape territory strategy, pricing, and product direction
Bonus Points
  • Existing relationships and a book of contacts with practices in your target market (Nevada or PA)
  • Experience selling to cardiologists, nephrologists, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, or primary care physicians
  • Background in remote patient monitoring, chronic care management, value-based care, medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare SaaS sold at the practice level
  • Familiarity with practice reimbursement models (RPM/CCM CPT codes, Medicare billing) and how new service lines impact practice revenue

Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record selling directly to physicians and physician practices
  • Demonstrated success selling into private practices, physician-owned groups, or PE-backed practice platforms - this role is not focused on large hospital or health system sales
  • Full-cycle sales ownership: you've sourced, run, and closed your own deals
  • Consultative selling skills - comfortable discussing both clinical workflows and practice economics with physicians and administrators
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy in a field-based territory role
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Nevada or the Greater Philadelphia / Pennsylvania area

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission structure with realistic on-target earnings of $300K+; our best performers can substantially exceed that
  • Ground-floor opportunity in a rapidly growing market segment with strong tailwinds (aging population, chronic disease growth, expanding Medicare reimbursement for RPM/CCM)
  • High-autonomy field role with direct access to company leadership
