This position is designed for remote work, allowing you the flexibility to provide mental health care from home. Our organization prides itself on a supportive and collaborative virtual work culture. Our clinicians enjoy the benefits of a technology-driven practice that eliminates administrative burdens, enabling them to focus entirely on client care. Regular virtual staff meetings and case consultations facilitate collaboration and enrich professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual mental health evaluations and risk assessments using secure telehealth platforms to identify clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the individual needs and goals of each client.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in a remote setting while addressing varied mental health challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to patients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate support and safety.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and social workers, to enable integrated and coordinated care for clients.
  • Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and resources available through telehealth.
  • Adhere to all applicable HIPAA regulations and telehealth policies to maintain patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities and virtual team discussions aimed at improving service delivery and client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Healious Psychiatry, you will primarily work with adults seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Qualifications
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the State of Missouri.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or medical setting.
  • Proficient in treatment planning, case management, and maintaining detailed client records.
  • Possession of an individual NPI number, reliable internet access, and the ability to maintain communication with clients via phone.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, those with previous telehealth counseling experience or specialized expertise in trauma-informed care or geriatric populations will find themselves particularly well-suited for this role.
