As a remote position, this role will enable you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through secure telehealth platforms. You will maintain regular working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing you with a balanced work-life integration. Our telehealth system allows for real-time communication with clients and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, fostering a dynamic and supportive work atmosphere.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that are aligned with individual client goals and challenges.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using a variety of appropriate therapeutic interventions, adapting your approach based on client feedback and progress.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain meticulously documented client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Engage in continuous clinical supervision, participate in case conferences, and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and services.

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with addiction, mental health crises, and emotional distress. This includes providing trauma-informed care and intervention strategies that respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients. You will be equipped to handle acute situations, including emotional crises and suicidal ideation, significantly impacting the well-being and recovery of individuals.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC License in the state of Florida is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional empathy, cultural sensitivity, and communication skills are vital for connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Prior experience in addiction therapy and crisis intervention is preferred.
• Experience in telehealth counseling or remote therapies is a plus.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
