This role will operate primarily in a remote setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to create balanced and efficient work schedules that align with their personal lives. Although remote, all counselors will engage in regular team meetings and collaborative supervision sessions to cultivate a supportive atmosphere. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, adapting approaches to fit the individual needs of clients.
• Provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing diverse issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care that encompasses mental, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and organizational guidelines.
• Engage in continued professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to stay updated on the latest practices and research in the field of mental health.

The clients served by Progressive Counseling Services represent a variety of demographics, including individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Counselors will work with clients dealing with an array of issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma histories, substance use disorders, family dynamics, and relationship challenges. Our approach emphasizes cultural competency and sensitivity to ensure that all clients receive respectful and personalized care.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, with preference given to candidates with expertise in clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal parameters related to mental health care, demonstrating a commitment to best-practice standards.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring efficient documentation of client encounters.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed therapy, addiction counseling, or family therapy is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to comprehensive client care.
• Participation in professional organizations and continued education within the mental health community is preferred.
