• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history, mental health status, and specific treatment needs, utilizing advanced screening tools and techniques.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address both substance abuse challenges and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
• Work in close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and case managers to develop and maintain integrated care initiatives, sharing insights and recommendations based on each client's progress.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients’ families, enhancing their understanding of addiction and involving them as supportive partners in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all documentation.

Our primary focus is on individuals struggling with substance addiction, compounded often by mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, helping them navigate the complexities of recovery and rehabilitation. Effective communication and compassionate engagement are essential in helping clients discover their strengths and foster long-term sobriety.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with a track record of establishing rapport and motivating clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with treatment team members within a remote environment.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing mental health counseling, particularly with addiction populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to manage client information and communications efficiently.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices specific to substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders.
