• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories, mental health status, and treatment requirements.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address individual addiction issues as well as comorbid mental health conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Work collaboratively with other team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create integrated care plans that meet clients' needs.
• Educate and support clients' families, fostering engagement and understanding in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including alcohol and drug addiction. Many clients also experience co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. The counselor will be expected to navigate these complexities, addressing both addiction and mental health challenges to promote holistic recovery.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Possess specialized training or demonstrated experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment practices.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and motivating clients throughout their recovery process.
• Excellent communication abilities to ensure effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with substance-use-disordered populations.
• Experience with telehealth services and remote therapeutic practices.
