What is remote ad operations?

Remote Ad Operations refers to managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns from a remote location, rather than working onsite at an office. Professionals in this role are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting online ads across various platforms, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and meet clients' objectives. They work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to maximize the effectiveness of advertising efforts, using tools like ad servers, analytics platforms, and reporting dashboards. This role typically requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with digital advertising technologies.

What skills and qualifications are needed for remote ad operations?

To thrive as a Remote Ad Operations Specialist, you need a solid understanding of digital advertising, campaign management, and data analysis, often supported by a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with ad servers (such as Google Ad Manager), programmatic platforms, analytics tools, and industry certifications like the IAB Digital Media Certification is typically required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing remote workflows and collaborating with clients and teams. These competencies are essential for ensuring campaigns run smoothly, optimizing performance, and achieving client goals in a fast-paced digital environment.

What are common challenges in remote ad operations, and how can they be managed?

Professionals in remote Ad Operations often encounter challenges such as coordinating with cross-functional teams across different time zones, maintaining clear communication with clients, and ensuring accurate campaign implementation without in-person oversight. To manage these effectively, it's essential to leverage project management and communication tools, establish regular check-ins, and document processes thoroughly. Proactively addressing potential miscommunications and setting clear expectations with stakeholders can help ensure campaigns run smoothly and deadlines are met.

Job description

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time.
About the role:
As a Strategy & Operations Sr. Associate within the NetCredit Business Unit, you will directly support one of Enova's core P&Ls and tackle projects that ensure Enova is operating at peak performance, and continuously improving so our customers can have the best possible experience . Projects can range from short-term immediate impact projects, like automating a business process, to long term strategic initiatives, such as a new product launch. The best part? Our team is big enough to have the resources to successfully scale the business, but small enough that a single associate has the autonomy to make a meaningful impact. That means you can make your mark.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage initiatives that focus on driving new projects, processes improvements and customer experience enhancements.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize and execute projects, balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensure quality, and drive bottom line results
  • Own end to end projects from initial recommendation through implementation/execution and assurance of successful business impact.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate with external partners and collaborate with internal tech development teams to ensure that projects meet business requirements.
  • Run ad hoc projects that are often data intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance. Our S&O team comes from a variety of backgrounds but are successful because of their ability to problem solve and think analytically.
  • 4-7 years of tangible work experience dealing with process improvement, management consulting or data analytics.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfort with data intensive environments and independent data exploration. Experience with SQL, BI tools, and analytical models preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking through excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, leading others, and executing and implementing projects.

Compensation
  • The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
