Who you'll work with

This is an Actuarial Associate role working within the IR Pricing & Product Development team.

About the role

As an Actuarial Associate you will further your actuarial development as part of a large and diverse organization that offers opportunities to learn and contribute to the overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your technical and business skills to solve complex issues through various techniques, including the development and maintenance of actuarial models.
  • Understand the regulatory environment and other standards required for product development, financial reporting and other key actuarial functions.
  • Collaborate with senior actuarial talent in delivering the right solutions, focused on driving value for Corebridge Financial and its customers.
  • Be detailed oriented, including properly documenting your work in accordance with Corebridge Financial and actuarial standards.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field

  • Completion of three or more SOA exams and three VEEs

  • 2+ years of actuarial work experience

  • Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Access and Excel

  • Programming skill in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, or C++ is highly preferred

  • Experience with modeling software is required

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115, 000 to $120, 000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in one of Corebridge Financial's hub locations (Houston-TX, Woodland Hills-CA, or Jersey City-NJ) and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
