The Accounts Payable Medicaid Specialist will assist the Medicaid Department with processing and entering data to ensure that all patient data & invoices/bills are paid accurately and timely.

We are seeking someone with experience processing hospice room & board.

Details
  • On a monthly basis check Patient Eligibility, Update facility rates, Confirm patient deductibles
  • Send monthly statements to facilities confirming amounts owed
  • Review Facility invoices for accuracy
  • Perform monthly check run for all facilities
  • Providing accurate and effective document preparation and records management in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Quick, accurate data entry and coding
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Great attitude, a team player with a desire to be helpful
  • Typing proficiency, accurate with 50+ WPM
  • General math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent data entry, analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 5 year of experience in Accounts Payable or similar field preferred
