• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to identify students' mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention to students grappling with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and transitional issues.
• Facilitate therapy groups and workshops to address topics such as stress management, resilience building, and personal development.
• Collaborate with on-campus partners, including academic advisors and student organizations, to create a comprehensive support network for students.
• Engage in outreach initiatives and wellness events that promote mental health awareness within the student community.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health care.

This role centers on serving a diverse student population within a community health clinic setting. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, focusing on their unique challenges, including academic stress, interpersonal relationships, and personal crises. Your contributions are crucial to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to express their mental health needs.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master's or doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrable understanding of the mental health challenges faced by college students.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive relationships with students and faculty alike.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy approaches suitable for a school counseling environment.
• Able to manage a diverse caseload within a high-paced environment effectively.

• Experience working in educational settings or with young adults in clinical capacities.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and related technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Track record of collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop mental health programs.
