In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the psychosocial needs of students and coordinating tailored services that foster emotional well-being and resilience. As a remote position, this role allows for flexibility while maintaining a consistent work schedule to suit the needs of the school environment. You will typically work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. Being part of a supportive team, you will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to mental health support.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social circumstances.
• Develop personalized care plans for each client in collaboration with students and their families, focusing on their specific goals and needs.
• Provide individual counseling and emotional support, assisting students in navigating academic and life transitions.
• Advocate for students’ rights and access to necessary community resources, ensuring they receive appropriate support services.
• Regularly monitor student well-being through virtual visits, evaluating their emotional and environmental situations to address any concerns.
• Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among families involved in students' care, encouraging holistic support systems.
• Educate clients and families about available resources, support groups, and programs that enhance social engagement and overall quality of life.
• Maintain accurate and current documentation of client assessments, care plans, progress notes, and communication records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.
• Stay updated on best practices in social work, mental health trends, and policies to ensure service excellence.

This role primarily focuses on students in a school setting who may be experiencing a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges. You will work closely with young patients from diverse backgrounds, offering tailored interventions to meet their unique social and emotional needs. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in social work, particularly within a school, community center, or geriatric setting.
• Sound knowledge of social work principles and practices, as well as aging-related issues as applicable.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to empathize and connect with students and families.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications pertinent to documentation and client management.

• Experience in a school-based setting or working with adolescents and children.
• Familiarity with community resources and support networks specific to mental health and education.
• Previous involvement in program development focusing on mental health initiatives is a plus.
