Job Description:

Job Title: Vice President, Regional Account Executive (401K Sales)

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

The Role

As Vice President, Regional Account Executive (RAE), the successful candidate will drive growth of Fidelity's 401(k) recordkeeping and workplace solutions business throughout New York State (excluding New York City and Long Island). This role is responsible for driving new business growth by building and leveraging a network of financial advisors and third party administrators (TPAs) to identify opportunities and connect clients with Fidelity's retirement plan solutions. Serving as a strategic resource on retirement plan solutions, the RAE will provide a consultative sales experience for advisors, TPAs, and small business owners that helps improve client outcomes and expand Fidelity's presence in the market.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Your expertise includes a proven track record in consultative sales, financial services, or benefit-related industries. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience selling through intermediaries such as financial advisors, TPAs, and consultants
  • Demonstrated success uncovering client needs and delivering tailored retirement and financial wellness solutions
  • Proven ability to build and execute territory business plans, including market segmentation, pipeline development, and coverage strategy
  • Experience developing referral networks and driving business growth through financial advisors and other key influencers
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of 401(k) recordkeeping, administration, investments, and employee benefits
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them upon hire

The Team

Fidelity Workplace Investing Sales is a high-performing, collaborative sales organization focused on helping employers and their employees achieve better retirement outcomes. RAEs are responsible for growing Fidelity's presence within their territories by developing advisor and TPA relationships, generating new business opportunities, and partnering with an aligned Retirement Director to deliver retirement and workplace solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

We offer a wide range of benefits to meet your evolving needs and help you live your best life at work and at home. These benefits include comprehensive health care coverage and emotional well-being support, market-leading retirement, generous paid time off and parental leave, charitable giving employee match program, and educational assistance including student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and learning resources to develop your career.
